Guwahati, June 25 (ANI): The police on Saturday baton charged the people protesting against the privatization of oil sector at an event for auctioning of 67 oilfields in Guwahati in Assam. Police detained hundreds of protesters and took them to the nearby police station. The protesting farmers were demanding exclusion of the 12 blocks in Assam and withdrawal of FDI in oil sector.
