Coimbatore, June 29 (ANI): The potters community staged a protest against the ban on mining of sand from ponds in Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore city. The protestors are demanding that the ban imposed by the state’s mining and geology department be revoked as it has affected their livelihoods. The community members were carrying mud pots as a symbol of protest against the restriction.
