Bengaluru, June 29 (ANI): Bollywood actor Salman Khan on Wednesday sent a reply to the National Commission for Women’s notice on his rape remark, which had received widespread condemnation from activists and political leaders. The NCW said that the actor’s lawyer responded on his behalf, but Khan did not seem apologetic for his comment. One of the women activists Sowmya said the actor was not apologetic towards his ‘rape’ comment, even after his father apologised for it. Another activist, Naina Saraswati, said the actor should apologise atleast for his female fans. She added that he has numerous female fans and such comment will defame his image. On June 20, Khan had claimed he “felt like a raped woman” during a tough film shoot, a comment that was criticised for trivialising the experiences of sexual assault survivors.
