Chhattisgarh CM inaugurates ‘Hamar Chhattisgarh’ project

Raipur, July 02 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Friday launched the ‘Hamar Chhattisgarh’ project in Raipur amid much fanfare. He said it is the first time in 16 years after the formation of Chhattisgarh state that 1.71 lakh elected representatives, Panchs-Sarpanchs, of the 10,971 Gram Panchayats will tour the state to take stock of the developmental activities in the state’s capital. CM Raman Singh, while inaugurating the ‘Hamar Chhattisgarh’ programme, said the state government had been striving for the welfare and betterment of farmers, villagers and poor of various sections of the society. The ‘Hamar Chhattisgarh’ project will update the panchayats’ representatives on the various programmes of several departments of the state government.
