Curfew continues to cripple normal life in Kashmir valley

Srinagar, July 29 (ANI): Normal life remained hit in Kashmir’s Srinagar as curfew imposed by the government, in the aftermath of widespread violence over the killing of a separatist militant early this month, continued. Policemen laid out barbed wires on roads and pulled up barricades in sensitive areas of Srinagar, capital of Jammu and Kashmir state, ahead of Friday prayers. Markets remained shut, roads were largely deserted and most residents chose to stay indoors in the city.
