Festoons and balloons mark celebratory closing of Democratic convention

Philadelphia (USA), July 29 (ANI): Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Thursday celebrated her historic nomination with balloons, confetti and pyrotechnics after delivering a speech at the Democratic National Convention. Clinton accepted the Democratic presidential nomination for the November 8 election with a promise to make the United States a country that worked for everyone. She ended her speech by saying that they have to be stronger together so that they could build better tomorrow for their children. Clinton was joined on the stage by her husband former president Bill Clinton, daughter Chelsea, son-in-law Marc Mezvinsky and running mate Tim Kaine and his wife Ann Holton.
