Kin of IAF personnel onboard IAF AN-32 hoping for miracle

Ramban/Udhampur, July 27 (ANI): Families of two of the 29 persons, who were onboard the ill-fated IAF AN-32 aircraft which disappeared over Bay of Bengal, on Friday, said they were hoping for a miracle. Kin of 24-year-old Pritam Chand, who hails from Kadma Papdia village of Ramban district in Jammu and Kashmir, is hopeful of Airman’s return. According to his eldest brother Kaku Ram, after completing his probation he was regularized just six months back. He said that he had spoken to his family members after resuming his duties at Chennai on July 21 and had informed that he would be reaching Port Blair on July 22 through an IAF plane. The family of another young IAF personnel, Ravi Devi Singh, narrated a similar ordeal. Hailing from Pakhali Village in Udhampur district, Singh was on-board the ill-fated IAF AN-32. Despite relentless efforts by different agencies, the wreckage of the plane could not yet be traced.
