Pakistan complicit in fuelling separatism since Burhan’s funeral

New Delhi, July 31 (ANI): Slain Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani’s funeral was attended by thousands of people from different parts of Kashmir. Wani was a designated terrorist who was killed in an operation by security forces but he had a cult like status which had been carefully cultivated by jihadis over social media and by separatists sympathisers. The administration decided not to bury Wani in any undisclosed location but to hand over the body to the family. But the funeral turned out to be an event that foreign terror groups used to fuel unrest in India. Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief and mastermind of Mumbai terror attacks Hafiz Saeed proudly claimed that the funeral was led by a designated terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba’s operative. Meanwhile, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif claims that Pakistan or Pakistanis have nothing to do with exporting terror, fermenting unrest in neighbouring countries. Under the Pakistan PM’s very nose, in the province where Sharif’s brother is the Chief Minister, the dreaded mastermind of terrorism held a press conference this week where terrorism in Kashmir was justified. Therefore Mr. Sharif cannot claim ignorance of Hafiz Saeed’s terror activities.
