Rameswaram, July 25 (ANI): Fishermen in Tamil Nadu’s Rameswaram demanded a concrete solution to the frequent arrests of their community members by Sri Lankan navy as their strike entered its fourth day. At least 22 fishermen from southern Rameswaram were arrested by Sri Lanka this month alone for fishing in its waters. The fishermen community began their indefinite strike on July 22 and refused to venture out into the sea until their demands were met.
