Ludhiana, July 26 (ANI): Two unidentified motorcycle-borne persons shot dead a woman accused of desecrating the Guru Granth Sahib in Ludhiana district’s Alamgir village on Tuesday. Balwinder Kaur, 43, a resident of Ghawaddi village, was earlier arrested for allegedly desecrating the Sikh holy book last year. Ludhiana Police Commissioner Jatinder Aulakh gave details of the case to the media. Kaur had been working at a gurdwara for over two decades. Her body has sent to the civil hospital for postmortem.
