Ayurvedic medicine gaining foothold globally

Coimbatore, Aug 27 (ANI): A university in Latvia has entered into an agreement with a city-based pharmacy and Ministry of AYUSH to introduce short-term courses in Ayurveda. Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (AVP) Managing Director P R Krishnakumar said he had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Commerce Minister Nirmala Seetharaman and made a representation to promote Ayurvedic medicine. The acceptance level of Ayurveda in many counties has been very high in recent times, considering the fact that Ayurveda can cure chronic ailments with traditional formulation of medicine.
