New Delhi, Aug 24 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 69.73 points up to stand at 28,059.94. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 17.70 points up to stand at 8,650.30. JK Tyre and Industries Ltd and Punj Lloyd Ltd were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 12.58% and 9.80% along with Engineers India Ltd and Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd with an increase of 8.33% and 7.80% respectively, while the top losers of group A includes City Union Bank Ltd and Shree Renuka Sugars Ltd with a decrease of 3.12 % and 3.06% along with Shriram City Union Finance Ltd and Oberoi Realty Ltd with a decrease of 2.72% and 2.70% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 37.45 points at 21230.97 while the Banking sector is up 9.47 points at 22208.68 and the Realty sector is up 2.62 points at 1579.66. The Indian currency is 0.08% up at Rs 67.11 per dollar.
