Mewat (Haryana), Aug 26 (ANI): Murder, gang-rape and robbery all concocted into one was lived by a family in Haryana’s Mewat on late Wednesday night which has in turn shaken the residents of the Dingerheri village. An elderly couple was beaten to death and two of their relatives, including a woman and a minor, were allegedly gang-raped after being held hostage by five armed robbers. Police said the assailants locked both the rape victims inside the house before running away with valuables which included cash, jewellery and a two-wheeler. The injured relatives of the victimized family were rushed to a hospital for treatment. Police have lodged a case under Section of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and other sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) and the Arms Act. Further investigation is underway.
