Coimbatore, Aug (ANI): Ahead of the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, the demand for eco-friendly Ganpati idols is on the rise. In Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, eco-friendly Ganpati idols made of paper mache and water based colour paints are in great demand, as they can dissolve quickly in water. Artisans have come up with unique ideas to make their idols environment friendly and less harmful to rivers such as the Ganga at the time of immersion.
