Exiled Tibetan entrepreneurs attend business conference

Dharamshala, Aug 31 (ANI): Exiled Tibetan entrepreneurs gathered in Dharamsala for a business conference aimed at connecting them to their counterparts across the world. The conference, titled ‘Tibetan Game Changers Conference’, was inaugurated by Prime minister of Tibetan government-in-exile, Lobsang Sangay. Secretary of Department of Finance, Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), Norbu Dorjee said the conference helped to cultivate ideas of economic development through entrepreneurship. At least 80 Tibetan entrepreneurs, including clothing designers, cycling tour managers, photographers, coaching institute managers, retailers and tour operators participated in the conference. According to Tibetan government-in-exile, the community will be self-reliant in the coming 15-20 years with zero dependence on foreign contributions.
