Jorhat, Aug 30 (ANI): People in Assam organised a unique marriage of frogs to appease the rain god. The villagers believed that frogs’ marriage will bring rainfall to their village, ending their miseries. The marriage was conducted according to Hindu rituals. A priest was also called in to solemnise the marriage, which was well-attended by the locals. A young boy and a girl were dressed up as bride and groom to hold the frogs during the ceremony.
