India, US discuss measures to drive up bilateral trade

New Delhi, Aug 29 (ANI): Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Monday met United States (US) Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker in New Delhi and discussed measures to drive up bilateral trade between the two countries. At the meeting, Jaitley said many Indian states are growing at the rate of 10-11 percent and the trade dialogue between the provinces and U.S. investors and companies can help boost the bilateral trade between the two countries. The minister added that the government has created a National Infrastructure Invest Fund (NIIF), in which various US-based insurance and pension funds can invest, especially in infrastructure sector.
