Jammu and Kashmir, Aug 23 (ANI): Sunayana Kachroo, a Kashmiri poetess and writer has won accolades both in India and abroad. Her book, Waqt Se Pare (Beyond Time, 2013) is currently in its 2nd print. Not only this, Sunayana’s short film “In search of America – Inshallah” was also selected for the Short Film Corner at CANNES 2015. She has been recognised and awarded as one of the top-20 Women of the Year (2014) in New England. Having received her education in Kashmir, Jammu and Pune, Sunayana shifted to United States in the year 2000. Her writings reflect her close association with her home state, Jammu and Kashmir. People like Sunayana Kachroo are a perfect example for youth in the country to follow their dreams.
