Kerry asks Pakistan to do more in combating terror

New Delhi, Aug 31 (ANI): US Secretary of State John Kerry made it clear that Pakistan had a lot more to do when it came to combating terrorism. He hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts in normalising the tension between the two neighbouring nations. He said that there have been communication but it is clear that Pakistan has work to do in order to push harder against its indigenous groups that are engaged in terrorist activities. Kerry said Pakistan must do away with non-state actors and disruptors who were not only affecting Indo-Pak relationship but are also hindering the efforts of US to achieve peace and stability in Afghanistan. Kerry further added that the brunt of terrorism is being faced even by Pakistan itself which has suffered greatly with more than 50,000 people being killed. The US Secretary of State also validated his arguments by rightly pointing that the activities of the extremists bring a bad name to the Islam religion.
