Baramulla (J&K), Aug 30 (ANI): Showkat Ahmad Parray, an IAS officer, is an inspiration for many who want to achieve great heights. Hailing from the Baramulla district of Jammu & Kashmir, Parray received his early education at a government school and later pursued his graduation in the field of veterinary science and animal husbandry. During his struggling days, Parray decided to go for civil services. He prepared for exam on his own and cleared it with his sheer hard work and dedication. He is now serving as the Sub Divisional Magistrate at Sangrur district in Punjab. In recent years, several students of Jammu and Kashmir have shown their potential but Parray believes education sector in the state needs a revamp. Parray also believes that people in J&K are talented and that the level of education has improved, helping students to now opt for various fields. Many youths from the state like Parray are gradually coming into the limelight with their dedication and sincerity towards serving the country
