Durg (Chhattisgarh), Sep 11 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Sunday launched the ‘Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana’ in the state’s Durg District and also distributed gas cylinders to the women residents present. Addressing the gathering, Singh informed that 1 lakh 10 thousand womenfolk of the district will benefit from the scheme. Lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiated ‘Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana’, he added that 24,500 households will benefit from the scheme this year while the rest can avail it in 2017.
