Surat, Gujarat, Sep 27 (ANI): With auspicious Navratri festival around the corner, a Surat-based dance academy organised a dance class where people from communities such as Hindu, Muslim, Parsis and Christians came together to practise garba. Interestingly, the people hailing from countries like France, Italy and Canada too joined the class to learn garba and to become familiar with the Indian culture.. Navratri means nine lights and is a festival dedicated to the worship of the Hindu deity goddess Durga. This year the festival will start on October 1st.
