‘King of Golf’ Arnold Palmer dies at 87

New Delhi, Sep 26(ANI): Golf legend Arnold Palmer, who was regarded as one of the greatest players in the golf history, passed away at the age of 87. Reportedly, Palmer took his last breath yesterday at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, Palmer was known as ‘The King’ and was the first superstar of the sport’s television age, which began in the 1950s. During his long career, the gold legend had won more than 90 tournaments worldwide and had several prestigious awards to his credit. Arnold will continue to live in the hearts of his fans and all those who idolises him.
