Locals deck up for Garba ahead of Navratri celebrations in Gujarat

Vadodara (Gujarat), Sep 30 (ANI): With Navratri just around the corner, garba and dandiya fever has picked up in the Gujarat state. Everyone in the state decks up in traditional finery for nine nights, preparing for the world’s longest dance festival garba and get set for the Navratri festivities. Popularly celebrated across India, Navratri is celebrated for nine nights and 10 days, during the course of which people worship the nine forms of Hindu goddess Durga. The 10th day is commonly referred to as Vijayadashami or Dussehra.
