Border villages evacuated as Pakistan continues to violate ceasefire

Kathua (J&K), Oct 21 (ANI): Hours after Pakistan violated ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua city, the state administration on Friday moved the villagers near the border areas to a safer place in bulletproof vehicles to ensure their safety. Giving details, a villager said there has been non-stop firing and mortar shelling from the Pakistani side resulting in huge destruction of life and property. The firing across the border first started around 9.35 am and continued for nearly an hour.
