Farmers near border areas worried for their crops amid Indo-Pak relations

Kathua (J&K), Oct 01 (ANI): Following the present situation at the Indo-Pak International border and Line of Control (LoC) after the surgical strike on militant camps in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), farmers of border areas remain worried as to how they would harvest their crops in such circumstances. With the paddy crops and other pulses crops being ready to be harvested along the zero line, the distraught farmers claim that they are facing such a situation since the last two decades. As the situation remains grim in the region, farmers said that the bank loans taken for agricultural purposes along with their crops remain at stake.
