Varanasi, Oct 24 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched ‘Urja Ganga’, the gas pipeline project which promises to provide cooking gas to residents of Varanasi within two years and, in another year thereafter, cater to millions of people in states like Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha. The government is taking initiative to connect the eastern states with National gas grid and have initiated to lay down 2,500-km long gas pipeline.
