BJP, RSS want to impose Hindutva: Mayawati

Lucknow, Dec 06 (ANI): Attacking the Centre and Samajwadi Party (SP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Tuesday said Dr. Ambedkar drafted the Indian Constitution on the basis of religious equality, but it is not acceptable to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) that is way they want to impose Hindutva. Taking a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent ‘mai toh fakir hoon’ statement, BSP supremo said the demonetisation move of the Centre has rendered 90 percent of Indian population fakir and not Prime Minister Modi. She was addressing a rally in Lucknow. Addressing the BJP’s Parivartan rally in Moradabad on December 3, Prime Minister Modi called himself a fakir, and adding that he did not bothered by his criticism.
