Army organises special sewing, stitching course for villagers

Rajouri (Jammu and Kashmir), Jan 20 (ANI): The Indian Army has organised a sewing and stitching course for the villagers of Saaj in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri area. This is one of the very first initiatives taken by the army. This drive is initiated towards women empowerment and, therefore, the army has installed 12 sewing machines and has hired a teacher for them. On this occasion, the sarpanch of Saaj appreciated the efforts of the army towards women empowerment and said that more initiatives should be taken for the upliftment of women.
