Akhilesh’s ‘gadha’ remark is an insult to Gujarat, Gujaratis: CM Vijay Rupani

Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Feb 21 (ANI): Criticising Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav for his ‘gadha’ remarks, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Tuesday called it an insult of Gujarat and Gujaratis settled worldwide, adding that entire state and Gujaratis are ‘hurt’. He further said that Akhilesh Yadav can foresee his defeat in the upcoming polls and hence, is ‘frustrated.’ Attacking Congress for supporting Akhilesh Yadav, Rupani vowed the grand old party’s state unit to answer on the same. Yesterday, UP CM Akhilesh had referred to a Gujarat Tourism advertisement featuring Amitabh Bachchan, saying that the megastar should stop endorsing ‘donkeys of Gujarat.’ His comments came during his rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Raebareli.
