Assam (Jorhat), 11 Feb (ANI): The first-ever solar power plant in the entire northeast region has been installed successfully in Don Bosco Higher Secondary School in Assam’s Jorhat.In order to accelerate the development of latest technologies in green energy in the region, a total of Rs 50 lakhs was sanctioned for the implementation of 40 KP solar power plant project by the previous government of Assam in 2015. However, attending the Bosco Night Celebration, Former Chief Minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi officially inaugurated the commissioned project.
