Rewari (Haryana), Feb 25 (ANI): In yet another shocking case related to dowry, a groom has been arrested in Gurgaon for not showing up in the last few hours of the wedding. The groom, Pradeep, and his family have been harassing the bride’s family by demanding cars, cash and many other expensive items for dowry. Bride’s brother Surendra said all the necessary preparations were done but on the eve of wedding, groom’s family claimed that Pradeep had refused to get married and have gone missing. The police are currently investigating the matter and have lodged a case under the ‘Dowry Prohibition act’.
