Thousands pay obeisance in the shrine of Sharafat Ali Miyan in Bareilly

Bareilly, Feb 20 (ANI): Bareilly is also known as Nath Nagri due to four Shiva temples located in four corners of the region. The city is a centre for communal harmony where one can find equal number of Hindu and Muslim shrines. The shrine of Sharafat Ali Miyan is one such place which attracts a lot of devotees. The devotees wish for the well being of their near and dear ones and also for a peaceful society. There is also a well-maintained community kitchen. The kitchen serves free meal to people throughout the day and people of all religious beliefs enjoy the sumptuous feast. There is also a proper segregation of vegetarian and non-vegetarian items so as to protect people’s eating habits. There are numerous shrines in India belonging to different religious faiths but what makes them special is that all of them represent unity in diversity which is the core principle of faith in our incredible India. The brotherhood between different communities binds people like different beads in a common thread.
