Resume work or face consequences, says State Medical Education Minister

Mumbai, Mar 22 (ANI): State Minister for Medical Education Girish Mahajan on Wednesday warned the agitating doctors of a six- month salary cut if they failed to resume work by Wednesday late evening. Over 4,000 resident doctors entering its third day, leaving the health services in Maharashtra paralysed. The minister said that the government has assured them that they will provide 1,100 guards within a month for their safety. The minister further said that the doctors are playing with the life of people.
