Activists protest against Pakistan Army-led violence in Balochistan

Berlin (Germany), Apr 23 (ANI): A group of Baloch natives on Saturday gathered together in the German capital Berlin and protested against the widespread violence by Pakistani Army in Balochistan. Carrying placards which read slogans against the atrocities rained by Pakistan, the protestors demanded United Nation’s attention on the burning issue. The placards were carrying messages against mass genocide, freedom and enforced disappearances of the Baloch people and activists. During the protest, they also voiced their opposition to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a multi-billion dollar project that aims to connect Kashgar, a province in Western China to the port of Gwadar based in Balochistan. The Baloch activists have been frequently raising their voices ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi raised the issue at the global level in 2016.
