Ludhiana (Punjab), Apr 21 (ANI): Policemen and Municipal Corporation officials got injured when infuriated slum dwellers started pelting stones during the anti-encroachment drive in Punjab Ludhiana’s focal point industrial area, Jamalpur on Friday. The incident took place when Municipal officials started demolishing slums and the slum dwellers began opposing them. When police came in between, the slum dwellers started pelting stones and bricks on policemen and the MC officials however, the anti-encroachment drive is going on across the city.
