Badgaon (Raigarh), April 13 (ANI): A male elephant believed to be around 25-years-old was found dead in a farmer’s field in Badgaon village of Chhattisgarh’s Raigarh on Wednesday. According to J.S Roy, Sub-Divisional Officer of Badgaon village, initial investigations hint at the possibility that the elephant might have consumed something poisonous. The forest officials have sent the elephant’s body for post-mortem to confirm exactly why he died.
