Indian High Commissioner submits an appeal against Jadhav’s death sentence, demands early release

Islamabad (Pakistan), Apr 26 (ANI): Indian High Commissioner Gautam Bambawale on Wednesday met Pakistan Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua in Islamabad. Bambawale said that he has submitted an appeal against Kulbhushan Jadhav’s death sentence to the Pakistan foreign Secretary and demanded that he be released. Meanwhile, Pakistan Army spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor has already rejected any chance of granting consular access to Jadhav, who was sentenced to death for espionage and subversive activities.
