“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced a compensation of 2 lakh to the families of the people who lost their lives and the victims who injured themselves in the incident will receive Rs.50,000 as compensation from the PM’s relief fund. This compensation will be provided in addition to relief payments by the petroleum ministry and GAIL.
