Shimla, July 03 (ANI): The labourers demanding labour laws in Shong-Thong-Karchham hydro project in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh have started an indefinite hunger strike outside the Himachal Pradesh secretariat demanding the implementation of the labour laws. These labourers have been protesting for over 108 days demanding the implementation of the recent orders of Himachal Pradesh High Court regarding labour laws but their demands are not being fulfilled. Labourers under the banner of CITU (Centre for Indian Trade Unions) protested outside Himachal Pradesh Government Secretariat trying to put pressure on the authorities so that their demands are fulfilled.
