Bastar (Chhattisgarh), Apr 02 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh launched Mukhyamantri Amrit Yojana and Saraswati Cycle Yojana in Bastar on Saturday. Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister lauded the initiative and said that children of Bastar are not only excelling in education but are also proving a ‘model’ for other students across the nation. He added that students of Bastar are proving their mettle by cracking toughest entrance examinations in the field of engineering, medicine, PSUs, which are the fruitful results borne by state’s education policy. Mukhyamantri Amrit Yojana provides 100 ml of milk every Monday to each child of 3-6years age, enrolled in aanganwadi centres. Under the Saraswati Cycle Yojana, free cycles are provided to girls who have passed 8th standard.
