Speaking on the occasion, Bihar State Health Society Executive Director Sanjay Kumar said Bihar has intensified its polio eradication efforts to protect the vulnerable population even as the state remains free of the most dangerous type 1 polio (P1) for over nine months, the longest period ever, a top state health official claimed.
“No no case of most dangerous type 1 polio (P1) is reported for over nine months in the state, the longest period ever in Bihar”, he said.
