In order to honor the most accomplished women in the fields of art, music, education, business, social activism and cinema Femina Magazine and L’Oreal Paris have decided to give Women’s Award each year starting from 2012. The Award giving ceremony will take place on March 22. It would be chaired by Veteran actress Zeenat Aman, Priya Dutt and designer Nandita Mahtani.
Other celebrities who will join the judging panel are photographer Jatin Kampani, India director of L’Oreal Paris Nathalie Gerschtein and businesswoman Sulajja Firodia Motwani.
“Our legendary signature – ‘Because you’re worth it’ – has empowered women over the past 40 years. These four timeless words are a reflection of women’s potential to express themselves…We are happy to honour such women by partnering with Femina to host our first Women awards,” said Gerschtein in a statement.
