Garth Brooks releases new Song about his Divorce with Trisha

American Singer Garth Brooks has recently released a new Song titled The Call, which deals with a possible divorce between him and his wife Trisha Yearwood. The Song has been voiced together by him and his wife Trisha Yearwood.

Talking about the Song, Garth said while speaking to Country Aircheck, “It’s about that point in a relationship when you make the decision whether what you have is worth fighting for, or is it just easier to call it ‘friends’ and live life from there,” Brooks said. “Everybody goes through this; Miss Yearwood and I were in the middle of it in 2002-03.” The version playing on radio now is just Brooks and Yearwood. Intentionally. There’s no big band behind them”

Garth and Trisha have been dating since 2002-03. On May 25, 2005, Brooks proposed to Yearwood in front of 7,000 fans in Bakersfield, California and she accepted without hesitation. On December 10, 2005, they were married in a private ceremony at the couple’s home in Owasso, Oklahoma. It was Garth’s second and Trisha’s third marriage.

They own homes in Goodlettsville, Tennessee; Malibu, California; and Port St. Lucie, Florida, but primarily live on their ranch in Owasso, Oklahoma, a suburb of Tulsa

Talking about the song he says that it was much special to him.
“We tried cutting this song with a full band but kept going back to the Wynn performance where it’s just like two people talking to each other. The echo-type piece in this is something I haven’t seen since ‘Mockingbird’ with James Taylor and Carly Simon,” he said. “I love how unique this song sounds and when you bring it down to just two voices and a guitar, the conversation happens.”

Garth Brooks would be undertaking a World Tour, nearly 14 years after remaining in hibernation. He disclosed this during an appearance on Good Morning America last week.
