Meet the latest member of the San Diego Zoo — this adorable little jaguar cub making its first public debut.
The zoo says the little one’s sex is not yet known.
The cub, born on March 12, makes 7-year-old jaguar Nindiri a mother for a third time, the zoo said.
While zoo-goers are now treated to this adorable display, they’ve had to wait to catch a glimpse, as mom and cub have spent most of the time since birth in private.
The zoo has moved the cub to new terrain complete with hay for play and a rock, which it says is important in its development – though it’s not always so steady on its paws.
