Hundreds gathered, Saturday, for the funeral of 19-year-old Tony Robinson Jr…. the latest victim in a string of shootings, where a white police officer has killed someone unarmed.

One person said, “I mourn for the loss of never seeing his smile. Of never holding his hand again.”

Words of heartbreak inside Madison East High School where friends honored his short life.

“…We all love him. From the bottom of our hearts. What’s his name?” (chants — Tony Robinson)

Robinson’s name has been chanted at peaceful protests in Madison.

While echoing demonstrations over police-involved deaths in Ferguson, Missouri, New York City and Cleveland, the people of Madison are saying “Black Lives Matter”. …Like at this high school basketball game.

Madison Police Officer Matt Kenny said Robinson attacked him on March 6, as he responded to a call about a man who had assaulted several people.

The shooting is being investigated to determine whether Kenny should face charges.
