Washington DC: Thousands of families began to gather at the White House Monday, where the 137th annual White House Easter Egg Roll got underway Monday.
The White House said 35,000 people were expected to gather on the South Lawn for the egg roll, egg hunt, live music and storytelling.
President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are expected to speak to the egg rollers later in the morning. Michelle Obama is also expected to read a Dr. Seuss story to children.
