The facilities have been used by forces loyal to former president Ali Abdullah Saleh, a powerful supporter of Houthi insurgents.
The Saudi-led campaign against the Houthis began late last month after the rebels, who already control the capital, began a rapid advance towards the southern port city of Aden.
Saudi Arabia is concerned that the violence could spill over its border. It is also worried about the influence of Iran, which denies Saudi allegations that it is providing direct military support to the Houthis.
Iran’s supreme leader has called the Saudi’s involvement in Yemen “genocide” and is calling for an immediate halt to the bombing.
