The Government has in principle the setting up of Inter-State Bus Terminal at Mauja Pahari in Patna. It would replace the existing Bus Terminal at Mithapur area of Patna.
The Govt plans to develop Mithapur area as an Educational Hub with several Eminent Institutes having setup their campuses in that area. Chanakya National Law University and Chandragupta Institute of Management Patna have already started constructing their campuses at Mithapur.
The Initial Plan was to shift the Bus Terminal to Mauja Pahari by March 2014, but it appears to be delayed at least by one year.
The Government has already acquired 25 acres of Land at Mauja Pahari while it has allotted 4,56 Crores for the development of Facility over there.
