Dense fog disrupts normal life, transport services

New Delhi, Dec 30 (ANI): Normal life was hit in parts of northern India on Friday as residents woke up to a thick blanket of fog. Visibility dropped drastically throwing rail and flight operations across cities out of gear. Several flights were delayed and at New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport owing to reduced visibility. Chaos prevailed at New Delhi Railway Station as 54 trains were delayed and 12 were rescheduled. Clueless about the arrival of their trains, some passengers braved the biting cold as they spent the night at the station, sleeping on the floor.
